Derek Palmer

Born in Boston and raised in a small suburb outside the city (think Stranger Things minus the strange), I’m creative with an emphasis on photography. While in my youth, I learned how to spike a foot-tall mohawk and stud a jacket. These days, I channel that creative teen angst into innovative productions. 

I have been working in creative development and editorial photography for the past ten years. Working with inner-city youth to sets with celebrities, Fortune 500 CEOs, and athletes has been quite the journey. I have unconditional love for dogs, and my trusty sidekick is a pit bull mix named Kid. (Ask how he got his name; it’s a great story.)

I was brought up with a firm belief in working hard and helping others and have enjoyed working jobs that range from washing cars and waiting tables to managing production teams and photography sets spanning coast to coast. After recently completing an M.F.A in Marketing, my free time is spent with a good pair of headphones, a pen and paper, and a game of tug with the little man.
